Entry Blog 1 (Myself + 3 Words)
This is an image of a major work from my IB Visual Arts exhibition (2017). The sculptural installation titled, "Ice Core" is a 2 m x 225 mm (diameter) ice sculpture. The concept is derived from Ice Cores extracted in the poles that give a record of human carbon history. Using this concept, within the centre of my 'core', I have placed objects that represent the history of my life. Consequently, this makes the work a visual representation of my life and the changes that have occurred in it. The items reflect different stages of my life ranging from teddy bears, lego, trophies to a beer can.
B. Great Piece of Architecture

The Sagarada Familia (Barcelona) is a Roman Catholic Basilica designed by Antoni GuardÃ. The building has been under construction since 1882 and is in its final stage of construction. The architect (GuardÃ) passed away in 1926 and with most architectural drawings destroyed, a number of architects have since continued his legacy. I have visited the building and was overwhelmed by its size, modernity and history.
C. Image of Something Beautiful

I took this image when skiing in the Swiss Alps (Scuol) in December 2017. I appreciated the beautiful terrain which was covered in a blanket of soft, white snow. I had never seen so much snow, and felt overwhelmed by its brightness, beauty and stillness.
